For several years DUAG organized internal annual scientific meetings, focusing on problems around the diagnosis and treatment of affective disorders.
In 2006 DUAG started a new series of symposia open to a broader audience; psychiatrists, clinical and experimental pharmacologists and others with a research interest in the field of depression treatment and development of existing and new techniques. These symposia, with speakers of international standard have been attended by researchers from academia and industry in Denmark and neighboring countries.
